To draw on the advanced management experience, intelligent manufacturing technologies and industrial development concepts of benchmark enterprises in the industry, broaden corporate vision and drive high-quality improvement and efficiency boosting upgrading, Hunan United recently organised its core management and technical team to pay a special study and exchange visit to BASF Shanshan Battery Materials Co., Ltd. in Ningxiang. The two sides benchmarked against cutting edge industry practices, learned from each other and explored avenues for joint development.
During the visit, accompanied by relevant representatives from BASF Shanshan, the Hunan United team conducted on site tours of the intelligent production workshops, R&D laboratories and finished product control zones. They gained an in depth insight into the automated production workflows, quality management systems, R&D and innovation of new energy materials, as well as the standardised work safety management model of the host enterprise.
Following the site tour, both parties held an in-depth forum discussion. At the meeting, extensive conversations were carried out on key topics including production technology optimisation, refined management, talent cultivation, work-safety supervision and future industry trends. The Hunan United team studied proven practices of BASF Shanshan in intelligent manufacturing transformation, product quality assurance and commercialisation of innovative research outcomes. Targeted discussions were also held on key challenges encountered in its daily operation. The on site exchange was conducted in a productive, pragmatic and harmonious atmosphere.
This benchmarking visit marks an important initiative of Hunan United to deepen its industrial presence and pursue improved efficiency. Going forward, the company will systematically review and digest the experience gained, roll out tailor made transformation measures to shore up weak links, optimise its management system and strengthen technological innovation.
